i will have two fun pieces out in the world this weekend april 4th. i'm heading out to florida tomorrow to attend the bold hype gallery opening with this painting. i hear that quite a few of the artists for the show are traveling out as well, so if you are in the orlando area, please stop in and bring some smiles:)




the very same night i have a new piece accompanying the hi fructose show "overdose" along with 60 other artists here in los angeles. i've never been in two shows at once, and sad i can't make them both... so florida here i come, time for a vacattttttion:)




and please stay tuned, i'll have a tshirt available at the coachella boutique again this year, it's only 3 wks away! i'll post an image as soon as it's available. for anyone attending this wonderful musical event, i'll be doing a great meet and greet on friday from 5 to 7 at the playstation booth with the planet illogica guys joe vaux and mark murphy. way before paul mcCartney goes on...eeee!

i was recently interviewed for the amazing coachella digital. super cool online magazine:) i will be working with them to have a shirt available coachella weeked April 17 - April 19. more to come on that soon:)

box set prints

POVevolving Gallery and print studio is hosting "movers and shakers" group exhibit with a pretty excellent line up of artists. I won't have any original art available for this exhibit, but they are offering a limited edition box set which will house 13 prints in each set and limited to 50 which i will be included in. All artists included in set: ana bagayan, glenn barr, kathie bleck, nicoletta ceccoli, brian despain, bob dob, naotto hattori, andy kehoe, kmdz, lola, damon soule, mia, and yosuke ueno.

Field trip :: Inspiration magnification

Today took on a life of it's own. There wasn't even any arguing with the fear of heights to brave the tram system and explore the new Baroque age exhibit at The Getty. Though the collection was on the smallish side, it was certainly breathtaking to say the least.

And i came home energized :)

Framing is just as important as the painting itself. The 300 (and plus) year old carved wood gilded and gessoed frames i saw today made my eyes glow wide eyed.
